Karina Arutyunova, PhD, is the Strategic Project Director of Wilco Wealth Management, an Armenia-based regulated wealth management and investment company serving high-net-worth families, family offices, and cross-border investors.
Karina brings over 16 years of leadership experience shaping funds, family offices, and wealth management institutions across the CIS and MENA regions. A graduate with honors from the Moscow State Institute (University) of International Relations (MGIMO), she holds a PhD in Law and has built her career advising ultra-high-net-worth families on family governance and multi-generational transition.
Over her career, Karina has held executive, board, and managing director roles overseeing wealth boutiques, portfolio companies, and strategic capital allocation. Her background spans the full lifecycle of private wealth structures, encompassing everything from defining investment policies and driving fundraising to executing complex exit strategies.
In her current role at Wilco, Karina leads high-level strategic initiatives focused on family governance, generational continuity, and tailored asset structuring. She works directly with family principals to establish institutional frameworks that support long-term enterprise value and capital preservation. This includes heading Wilco's Next Gen programme, which involves holistic engagement and structured educational initiatives designed to support the effective long-term stewardship of heirs.
